I wanted to share some videos from theRSAorg that I found interesting. Basically they are animated portions of talks by some modern thinkers. This is a British organization and of course the speakers are mostly white males. Regardless, I found this to be very thought provoking and the animation keeps your attention! It’s definitely very white western classist male in its perspective. There are a lot of assumptions that are privilege based. I keep remembering that drawing where they talk about the brains of modern man as opposed to serfs in the middle ages as opposed to primitive human. There are massive assumptions there based in denial. Serfs were a middle age phenomenon. There are no serfs today. We are not modern day serfs. Primitive man thought about food and sex among other things. Humans today don’t think about those things as a baseline. We’re all well educated and therefore thinking about apps much more than about sex. heh. Okay. But it’s still an interesting idea. Thanks for posting it.
